Classes Taught in partnership with LCC

Basic Sound Engineering - Winter Term 2011 Saturdays in January 11am-1pm. Starts Jan 8th. Email us for details.

Several levels of audio engineering training are offered for anyone willing to learn. These courses are held at Sprout City. Lessons will cover microphones/cables/consoles/recording machines-type and use.

Classes welcome anyone interested in the art of sound production! Musicians, Home Recordists, Live Sound, Radio Engineers, Future Studio Engineers, T.V. and Film Audio Engineers... all the basics will be covered to help anyone get into these occupations.

Workshops @ SCS

In the near future we will be offering 1 and 2 day workshops on recording techniques. These will be an entirely hands-on experience. There will be a limit of 4 students per Workshop. Students will track, mix, and master to CD a real band's Demo/EP.

We need volunteer bands to pay a ridiculously low fee for a Full 1 or 2 day recording session!!!

Internships

Internships are available to anyone willing to commit to working hard around and for the studio. It is not easy and is a major commitment!!! There is much to learn and a lot of work to be done.

Please do not consider this unless you have at least 4 hours a week for 6 months minimum.

We offer a trade of 3 hours of you working for 1 hour of play time in the studio to do as you please.
