Jesse Myers

Jesse has been studying music since he was eleven years old. He has played bass, guitar, trumpet and piano. He has been in several hard rock, punk rock, and heavy metal bands, and has played bass in church services and chapels for over a decade.

He has taken years of music theory and music history courses, and has been writing songs and composing music since middle school. He routinely rolls out of bed in the middle of the night to write a chorus or melody that has been keeping him awake.

In 1998, Jesse purchased and eight-track digital recorder and a CD burner, which he intended to use for his own compositions. Soon, he was recording demos of bands he was in, and in no time he was recording bands he wasn't in. His hobby extended to friends, fellow students, even a professor. He would record demos, albums, live performances, practice sessions, karaoke tracks, and lectures.

Eventually, Jesse outgrew the limits of his eight-track and put the obsolete technology in a drawer. He joined an established studio and trained under experienced engineers to turn his hobby into a profession. Today, he can be found at Sprout City Studios in Eugene, Oregon, working with musicians of various musical styles, engineering any size project on any budget.
Jesse is ready to lend his fresh ears to your project and is willing to work with any budget. Feel free to contact him with any questions you may have.
